Design for contrast first
Thermal printers love bold shapes and clear type. Thin scripts, pale gray logos, and busy patterns disappear on paper. Use high-contrast marks, short headlines, and generous margins around faces.
If you support both color screen preview and black-and-white thermal output, check the strip in print — not only on the tablet — before you finalize an event theme.
One brand story per strip
Pick a primary message: venue name, couple names, cafe slogan, or your booth brand. Secondary lines can hold the date, city, or a QR hint. Stacking every social handle on the footer makes the strip feel crowded and dated.
